Virtual Paintout - Isle of Man


My first quick sketches of the Isle of Man.  Virtual Paintout is a monthly challenge of a selected country or city around the world.  Locations are found on Google Maps.  I didn't get to a finished version so didn't participate with this challenge, but click on over as it is a very active and interesting blog - every month a new place, new talent.



 I've never worked with watercolor pencils and am not so sure I'm a fan - I had no range of color and I couldn't mix to get appropriate shades.  I prefer the classic water color tin:
